This session of the Scaling Community of Practice’s 2023 Annual Workshop highlights the Fragile States Working Group. The session features a discussion with foundation and corporate leaders about the complexities, opportunities and scaling approaches to reach the most challenging populations in conflict settings, with special focus on how foundations and firms can harness market dynamics to scale development solutions in a diverse range of fragile settings.
The meeting was moderated by Jonathan Papoulidis of Food for the Hungry and featured guest speakers Alexandra Scott, Global Environment and Technology Foundation, Jose Neves, Project Last Mile, and Rushika Shekar, Project Last Mile. The panelists discussed their own experiences and perspectives on scaling as well as what they see as the future of scaling in their organizations and beyond.
