Scaling built into delivery models

The Scaling Community of Practice (CoP) invites all members to join a webinar, co-hosted by the newly-formed Mainstreaming Working Group and HarvestPlus, focused on the experience and lessons learned in mainstreaming scaling from HarvestPlus. The HarvestPlus program works across CGIAR as part of the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI). HarvestPlus fights hunger worldwide by scaling new, climate smart, high yielding, competitive varieties of staple crops that are nutrient enriched, making food systems more nutritious and inclusive. Please feel free to pass the invitation on to other interested development practitioners and analysts.

The webinar, held on 20 June from 10:00-11:15am UTC-4, will focus on how HarvestPlus built a delivery model with the intention to scale from its inception, working through both commercial and non-commercial pathways. It has reached 100 million consumers as of 2023. This session includes a presentation by HarvestPlus, in-country private and NGO partners, and will have ample time for Q&A.
