How it was built. Claude Opus 4.7 was used to build this database based on the projects in the SCoP's newsletters and its Mainstreaming Case Studies. Claude was provided detailed instructions on how to extract information related to the specific fields in the summaries and told, to the extent possible, to directly extract quotes. It then paraphrased these in a later step.
Claude referenced the links within the newsletters, but did not conduct an extensive web search. Where the original source could not be reached (e.g. due to a broken link, a paywall, or no link at all) the details were compiled from the newsletter write-up, and those records are flagged Minimally extracted.
Note that this data was AI-extracted and AI can make mistakes.
Request an update to a project. Please contact us at info@scalingcop.org if you would like to request a change to the summary provided in any of these entries. You can also request that we remove your entry. If you would like your project to be added to this database, please submit it to our newsletter and it will automatically be added.
This database is primarily meant to serve as a way to help you find example projects, which you can learn more about on our members' websites. Because this data was AI-extracted, it should be used to identify sources that are worth reading in full, and the information should not be acted on without verification. You can also use this database to map the landscape, identify gaps, and reach out to potential partners. We strongly encourage the use of filters over the search bar, as filters support more exploration and the search functionality is limited.
