About this data

How it was built. Claude Opus 4.7 was used to build this database based on the projects in the SCoP's newsletters and its Mainstreaming Case Studies. Claude was provided detailed instructions on how to extract information related to the specific fields in the summaries and told, to the extent possible, to directly extract quotes. It then paraphrased these in a later step.

Claude referenced the links within the newsletters, but did not conduct an extensive web search. Where the original source could not be reached (e.g. due to a broken link, a paywall, or no link at all) the details were compiled from the newsletter write-up, and those records are flagged Minimally extracted.

Note that this data was AI-extracted and AI can make mistakes.

You can also request that we remove your entry. If you would like your project to be added to this database, please submit it to our newsletter and it will automatically be added.

How to use this database

This database is primarily meant to serve as a way to help you find example projects, which you can learn more about on our members' websites. Because this data was AI-extracted, it should be used to identify sources that are worth reading in full, and the information should not be acted on without verification. You can also use this database to map the landscape, identify gaps, and reach out to potential partners. We strongly encourage the use of filters over the search bar, as filters support more exploration and the search functionality is limited.

Field guide

Each project record (opened by clicking a card) contains the following fields:

• Themes. The SCoP working group(s) and any cross-cutting theme(s) the project relates to.
• Region. The geographic region(s) the project works in or focuses on.
• Study Date. The date of the source write-up or the underlying study.
• Reference / Link. The cited reference or link to the original source material.
• Type of Solution to be Scaled. A brief description of the innovation, model, or approach being scaled.
• Problem Statement. The problem or need the project sets out to address.
• Initial Project / Pilot. The original pilot or starting effort the scaling work builds on.
• Vision for Scale. The project's ambition or goal for reaching scale.
• Implementation Strategy. The approach used to take the solution to scale.
• Stakeholder Mobilization. The partners, funders, and other actors engaged to support scaling.
• Current Implementation Status. How far the project has progressed toward scale — Pilot, Partial scale, At scale, or Concluded.
• Results to Date. The outcomes, reach, or evidence achieved so far.
• Key Lessons Learned. Insights or takeaways from the scaling experience.
