Isabel Guerrero has worked in development all her life. Isabel is an economist, a psychoanalyst, and the co-founder of Imago. She worked at the World Bank as Vice President for South Asia managing a portfolio of 39 billion dollars. She was also Country Director for Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia, India, Mexico, Paraguay, and Peru. Since 2014 she has taught “Scaling up for Development Impact” at Harvard Kennedy School, as well as Scaling up in Executive Education programs for the Bernard Van Leer Foundation and “Leading Successful Social Programs: using evidence to assess effectiveness”. She has recently published a book based on her course intertwined with the lessons from working with grassroots around the world called “Scaling up Development Impact” with Siddhant Gokhale and Jossie Fahsbender.
