Global Policy Director – One Acre Fund

Colin has spent his career with organizations committed to innovative, impact-focused approaches to international development. Since 2015 he has worked with One Acre Fund, a social enterprise providing agricultural services to 4 million farmers in East and Southern Africa. He currently serves as their Global Policy Director, based out of Washington DC, and before 2019 he was their East Africa Government Relations Director, based out of Kigali. Before One Acre Fund, he lived in Nairobi and directed government relations for Bridge International Academies, which runs low-cost private schools. He also served as Country Director for Innovation for Poverty Action (IPA) in Western Kenya from 2010 to 2014, leading a country office that ran dozens of randomized impact evaluations. Colin has an MA in international development from Tufts University (the Fletcher School.
